Innovations and Progress in Technology

New technology poses both advantages and disadvantages to modern society. It can help us make societal, medical, educational, and other important advancements. Sometimes, though, technology can lead to questions in ethics and progress and cause certain issues.

Discovery and Progress

Different cultures and groups of people have different habits or practices when it comes to the use of technology. Since the development of the World Wide Web (l'internet), more inventions (des inventions) have come about and helped society achieve their goals. This progress doesn't seem to be slowing down, either; the future (l'avenir) of technology looks fruitful and seemingly very progressive.

Thinking about this, how can you see impacts of technology in your own community? How does this unique instance compare to friends, family, others, or a Francophone community?

Research and new advancements (la recherche et ses nouvelles frontières) are becoming more prominent throughout new generations. Can you think of any ways in which technology has changed your everyday life (as you read this on your device!)?

Le téléphone portable représente une avancée technologique dans le domaine de la communication, qui nous permet de rester en contact avec les autres, mêmes dans les endroits isolés 🏝️, dans tous coins du monde 🌍. Et bien sûr, le téléphone portable est très utile en cas d'urgence 🆘. Les logiciels intuitifs deviennent de plus en plus faciles à utiliser pour tout le monde. De plus, les téléphones portables sont assez abordables 💰, sauf si on veut un modèle de luxe.
